Parent-Teacher Conferences are set for this fall and online sign up procedures are in place. Conference times and dates are:
Monday, October 17th, from 3:00-9:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 18th, from 3:00-9:00 p.m.
Parent conferences are an important part of the parent-school partnership necessary for a successful education today. Franklin has an excellent tradition of parent involvement, and we would really like you to join us. It is expected that your student join you for this conference as they will have important insight into their educational progress.
Parents may sign up for conference times online via the link available through the website: https://www.myschoolsystems.com/cedarrapids/franklin/conferences/ . The link will be activated Friday, September 30th and will close at midnight on Wednesday, October 12th. Once you are on the site, simply use your student’s first and last name as the login and your student’s birthday or their student ID number as the password to sign up for conference sessions. After October 12th, please call the main office at 558-2452 to schedule a conference time.
Conference times are set for 15 minutes in length. You will be able to sign up for conferences with two teachers.
We encourage you to check PowerSchool to help determine your conferencing teacher. If you have additional teacher(s) you’d like to see we encourage you contact them individually to arrange a time to visit or schedule an additional block once the scheduling window has closed.
Parents, if your student is doing well at Franklin, you may choose to decline a conference. Please contact the main office if this is your choice.
